The estuary of the river Miñor stretches from A Ramallosa bridge to the mouth in the ria of Baiona, by A Ladeira beach. The estuary, with sandy areas and marshy regions, is mainly covered with rushes and other saline plants. Forest presence is very little, except the beach area where pines grow.At sunset, low tide, the landscape is breathtaking: rushes shine, cormorants and other sea birds fly over the marsh, and the river flows into the sea in shy waves. At that time river fishes are swimming without a certain direction, lost between the ria and the sea: eels, basses and a few salmons. A perfect spot for fishers.
