Any beach in Baiona is perfect to swim.

 

 

The Western beaches of A Concheira and Os Frades are the smallest, though with thicker sand. Its waters present high Iodine content.

 

Right in the beginning of the seafront we find the quiet A Ribeira. Inside the walls of the Fort, next to the Yachting Club, you can go to A Barbeira.

 

Santa Marta and A Ladeira are somewhat apart from the town centre. A Ladeira, the longest beach in town, is where the estuary of the river Miñor is formed, and it's parto of the Nature 2000.

 

In 2013, 3 of the 6 beaches were awarded with Blue Flag (Santa Marta, Barbeira and Os Frades), that reward the quality of the beaches and its services.
