Open sea and clear choppy -sometimes-rough- waters that frequently bring huge seaweed masses to the shore. The sand is thick with many non-settled shells. In former times a fertility rite was held in this beach: In St. John's eve (June 24th) women had to take a 9-wave sea bath.
