The convent of the Dominican Sisters -a solid building with granite ashlars and simple architecture- was built in the 16th century near the boundaries of the Old Village. Its charming church, with an altarpiece with huge columns where different saints have their niche, exhibits a well-defined Plateresque style and acanthus leaves everywhere.
